Here I am, sitting on my couch drinking my coffee and BAM! A new year comes in out of nowhere (I literally had no time to prepare) and it’s 2026 now. All of a sudden. I swear I did not see this coming. There were all those months of 2025.. and now they’re gone. Just, poof! Well, we did a lot didn’t we? And even if we didn’t… maybe just surviving was enough.
You’ve all gotten a lot of shit in your inbox about the new year, I’m sure, so I won’t be adding to that (until later, when I need to remind everyone that we have a very super awesome epic NEW YEAR ART SHOW on Jan 31) – but I will let you know here that we have a pretty amazing lineup for January, so don’t forget about this place just yet.
Interested in featuring your art on the walls for the art show? Check out the info on this spreadsheet and sign up here (link)! There’s only a few rules/guidelines and that is: please frame your prints (and provide a frame that is good for hanging on the wall please), if you’ve had art on the walls before please do not reuse a piece we have already seen, and lastly be sure to make the drop-off deadline of January 19. And if you have a piece from a previous show perhaps please consider reaching out and picking it up!
Tuesdays in January at 6pm we will be hosting Transcendance, and you can find the full lineup for the first few months of the year here (link). Please note that we are closed for shopping on Tuesdays.
Additionally, we are going to be implementing Winter Hours for Jan-Feb-March and we will be closed Thursdays AND Tuesdays. However, if you are interested in coming by on a Thursday, please email sourcherrycomics@gmail.com and make an appointment in advance.

Saturday, Jan. 10 @ 1-4pm: Letter Writing with Flying Over Walls, Bay Area. They will be joining us from 1-4pm so come on down and write a birthday card to one of our queer/trans incarcerated comrades! (supplies provided)
Saturday, Jan. 10 @ 5-7pm: Signing & AMA with DC/Image artist Don Aguillo! (artist of many amazing covers, with interiors in DC Pride, Zatannic Panic, Spawn & more!)
Monday, Jan. 12 @ 6:30pm: Babes Who Book! Come thru and tell us what you’ve been reading, recently finished or are currently reading! Attendees get 10% off graphic novels, books & manga.
