Also we have another couple installments for the C.R.A.F.T (Creating Resistance Against Fascist Tyranny) series! It’s kind of a packed month…!
Wednesday, Sept. 2 @ 6-8pm: De-Kettle Advice & Protest Safety: Lessons from the ground on awareness and avoidance of police kettle tactics. A presentation on mitigating state violence before the opportunity for the police to become violent even arises.
Friday, Sept. 11 @ 4:30p – 6:30p: sfzf 2026 post-mortem – did you spend twice as mch as you meant to at zine fest this year only to get home and realize you ran out of space for more zines two years ago? this is the event for you! we’ll do a round of show and tell, where we can all take a turn showing off our newest zine acquisitions, and round out the event with a free zine exchange—so bring any zines you’re wanting to rehome as well!
Saturday, Sept. 12 @ 1-4pm: Letter Writing with Flying Over Walls, Bay Area. They will be joining us from 1-4pm so come on down and write a birthday card to one of our queer/trans incarcerated comrades! (supplies provided)
Monday, Sept. 14 @ 6:30pm: Babes Who Book! This is the first September meeting. Babes Who Book is an informal book club where we will share what we have been reading lately. Please make an effort to be on-time if you’d like to share your reading activity so that you can sign up and be on the list to speak. Sharing is optional and you are more than welcome to hang out and listen to get recommendations. Attendees receive 10% off all books, graphic novels and manga.
Weds., Sept. 16 @ 6-8pm: Follow The Money: What’s the Deal With SF Politics? Learn more about the dark money and tech influence in the SF Political sphere and how you can fight it. Free infoshare event part of C.R.A.F.T series! Discuss various political groups (learn what “astroturf” means), learn about upcoming ballot measures and look into the political candidates running for office in November.
Weds., Sept. 23 @ 3-7pm: Pop-up with Double Down Thrift Shop! Bring your wallet and treat yourself with Double Down’s amazing vintage scores!
