Sunday, April 2 @ 7:00pm: All-Genre Writing Workshop at Silver Sprocket (1018 Valencia St)
Thursday, April 6 @ 6:30-8pm: Sewing party! Hand sewing projects; bring your own or make something cute from our random assortment of extra fabrics – or maybe you want to buy one of our cute patches to sew on your favorite jeans!
Saturday, April 8 from 1-4pm: Black & Pink Letter Writing with Flying Over Walls, Bay Area. They will be joining us from 1-4pm so come on down and write a birthday card to one of our queer/trans incarcerated comrades! (supplies provided) – be sure to also check out the graphic novels, zines, and books from A.B.O Comix! ABO Comix is a publisher that works with incarcerated queer/trans comrades and produces their art, writings, etc – all profits go to supporting the prisoners. Read more here.
Tuesday, April 11 @ 6:30pm: Creative Non-Fiction Workshop!
Wednesday, April 12 from 5-8pm: Mission Mini Comix – learn how to make mini folded zines / make collaborative zines / draw your own pages, etc. Attendance is free, please bring your own materials.
Wednesday, April 19 @ 6:30pm: Poetry Zine-Making! Tickets on Eventbrite. Six prompted mini poetry-writing sessions designed to create a mini-zine / mini comic. All materials provided in ticket price.
Thursday, April 20 @ 8pm: Queer Bedtime Stories at Milk SF!
No draw jam this month. We will be prepping for SOUR CHERRY CON 2023!!!! Accepting vendor applications through April 19.
