Thursday, Sept. 1 at 6:30 pm: Sewing Party! Bring your own hand sewing projects (there are extra needles + thread at the store if you need them)
Saturday, Sept. 3 at 6:00 pm: Powerpuff Poetry Club! Timed writing exercises and sharing (optional)
Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7:00 pm: All-genre writing group – timed writing and sharing. Typically this is a monthly writing group held at Silver Sprocket but it will be at Sour Cherry Comics this month! 3187 16th st
Friday, Sept. 9 at 4:00 pm: Ivy Rose Mission Mini Comix group! Reach out to Ivy Rose Zines for more info.
Saturday, Sept. 10 from 1-5 pm: Black & Pink Letter Writing! The lovely folks from B&P Bay Area Chapter: Flying Over Walls will be joining us from 1-5pm so come on down and write a birthday card to one of our queer/trans incarcerated comrades! (supplies provided)
Tuesday, Sept. 13 – CLOSED – Typically the creative non-fiction group is on this day (second Tuesday) but the shop will be closed.
Weds., Sept. 14 at 6:00 pm: Creative Non-fiction Writing (timed writing as well as memoir/non-fiction structure outlining and optional sharing)
Friday, Sept. 16 at 6:00 pm: LGBTQ+ Book Club! Reading and discussing: Wash Day Diaries
Saturday, Sept. 17 from 5-8 pm: M33: Galaxy of Hybrids Comic Release Party & Artist Signing with Natalie McKean
Saturday, Sept. 24 from 1-5 pm: Sour Cherry Book Fair & Pop-up! Come to the shop for some raffles / prizes, support local artists, and lots of book sales!!
